Overview

The BMV Record, Title & Lien and Registration Search application offers two new options highlighted in red. The first new option is to "Manage Account" selecting this link will assist you to change your password or update your email address currently associated with your IN.gov Subscriber account. The second new option is a "Forgot Your Password?" If you have forgotten your password to your IN.gov Subscriber Account you will be able to click on this link enter your IN.gov Subscriber username and begin the process to enable you to have a new password emailed to you. The "Forgot Your Password" feature will only work if you have already setup your security profile questions.

For returning and first time BMV Enhanced users you will now be asked to setup 3 security questions after you login with your current IN.gov Subscriber username and password. There will be several security questions that you can choose from after login to setup your security profile.

Once you have completed answering the security profile questions you will be taken to a page indicating that you have "Successfully saved your security profile." You can now select the "Logout" link in the type right corner of the page and continue using the BMV Record, Title & Lien and Registration Search application.

Forgot Your Password

From the "IN.gov Account Management" home page you can click on the "Forgot your Password" link. You will then be requested to enter your current IN.gov Subscriber username and click the "Begin Reset Process" button to continue. The "Forgot Your Password" feature will only work if you have already setup your security profile questions.

The next screen will be one of the three security question that you setup in advance. Answer the security questions and click on "Reset Password". An email with your new login password will be sent to the email address that we have on file associated with your IN.gov Subscriber Account.

Change Your Password

Upon initial login to the "IN.gov Account Management" home page you will be presented with the option to "Change Password".

Selecting the "Change Password" button will allow you to enter your current IN.gov Subscriber password and setup a new password.

Upon successfully changing your password you will be sent to a page indicating that your "Password Successfully Changed". You can now select the "Logout" link in the top right corner of the page and continue using the Online Subscriber Services offered on IN.gov.

Updating Your Email Address

Upon initial login to the "IN.gov Account Management" home page you will be presented with the option to "Update Email Address".

Selecting the link for "Update Email Address" will direct you to a page which will indicate what your current email address on file is and allow you to enter in a new email address. This will automatically be reflected for your IN.gov Subscriber account and all future emails, receipts and communications will be sent to this new address.

Upon successfully updating your email address you be taken to a page indicating a "Successfully stored new email address". You can now select the "Logout" link in the top right corner of the page and continue using the Online Subscriber Services offered on IN.gov.
